You should add BlackBerry Desktop Manager to your &quot;have to use with vmware&quot; list. There is no version for Linux and RIM has consistently refused to change that. If all you need is sync capabilities, check &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.linux.com/feature/123251&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;this&lt;/a&gt; out. For backups though, I wouldn&#039;t feel comfortable with anything except software from RIM.</description>
