This is inside the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere. It’s one of the oldest churches in Rome. We went to see this right after seeing the Vatican Museum and it was still very impressive.

I took a picture of a restaurant near the Duomo in Milan and a waiter started making waving and making faces at me. He then told me that the picture was going to cost me 40 euros. I negotiated him down to 0.

Stairs were a recurring theme in Italy. The Duomo in Florence? Stairs. Pisa? Stairs. Hotel Rooms? Stairs. Well, here are more f***ing stairs :). This is the town of Riomaggiore in Cinque Terre.
