My girlfriend has a lot of quirks - hating snakes, carrots, Alicia Keys (so random, she can’t even say why)… but one of the most interesting ones are the “almost stories” As a cat brings you its recent kill, she brings me all these stories about things she almost did during her day. Sometimes she even tries to get brownie points out of it, “I almost bought you something today.” (Gee, thanks!). So this is my attempt at collecting them:

The playcount for Jump by Kriss Kross has been creeping up over the last two months, enough to warrant a Kriss Kross revival. It’s a really good song, Baby Got Back kinda good. This means that I’m going to learn the lyrics and sing it at every karaoke outing possible. However, I’m not about to start wearing my pants backwards (thanks David). One of the funniest moments in Rome: there’s a giant poster of Gary Coleman near the church of Santa Maria in Trastevere. Someone took a look at this wall and said, ‘You know what this needs? A giant Gary Coleman.’
